Hi,
I posted this in the "meeting place", but no one answered. Maybe this post will get more exposure here.
I hate to say this..............but, I was one of the people that won a DVD about a month or so ago. I was happy to actually win something. Well, I tried to watch it the other day and it will not play. I cleaned it about 5 times and it will not play. I think it's because someone wrote some numbers on it with a pen. It came to me that way. It was going to be my first attempt at watching a movie by myself after the death of my husband on Dec. 10.
No matter what I do, it still says "disc is dirty". The movie is Aviator.
Thanks. Disc 2 works fine. It's the one with the special features etc. I never watch that stuff. That disc does not have numbers written in pen, so I think that's what the problem is with the movie disc. |

Sorry you had a problem with the DVD. IN addition to buying brand new DVD's, I also purchase Previously Viewed DVD's from the local video store (hence the writing around the center in black marker). I'm sure its a scratch thats causing the issue.
At anyrate I've just sent you an email with some movie choices to replace the Aviator, hopefully you'll have better luck the second time around!
